FOMLIG Council Lecturers 2025

The FOMLIG Council was established in 2024 to advance trustworthy data-centric geotechnics in research, practice, and regulation. One important mission is to nurture young talents to apply machine learning and AI responsibly and innovatively to benefit our profession and the society at large that we serve. This education mission is critical, because undergraduate and graduate education have not been updated to nurture such new talents that our industry would need soon.

The FOMLIG Council Lecturer was established in 2025 to recognize researchers and practitioners that participate in this talent development effort. The FOMLIG Council Lecturer is appointed by the Chair of its Executive Board with a term of one calendar year in recognition of one or more worthy activities that took place in that year.
